Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a slow-growing blood cancer of abnormal lymphocytes, most common in adults over 50 and often symptom-free at first. It is diagnosed with blood counts, flow cytometry and sometimes bone-marrow tests, and managed with watchful waiting, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy or a stem-cell transplant.
