Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) treatment cost
Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a blood cancer driven by the Philadelphia chromosome and its BCR-ABL gene, which fuels abnormal white-cell growth. It is diagnosed with blood counts, bone-marrow biopsy and genetic testing, and treated mainly with tyrosine-kinase-inhibitor targeted therapy, plus chemotherapy or a stem-cell transplant.
