Food Poisoning (Gastroenteritis) treatment cost
Food poisoning is illness from eating food or water contaminated with bacteria, viruses or their toxins, causing nausea, vomiting, cramps, diarrhoea and sometimes fever. Most cases settle with fluids and rest; stool and blood tests identify the cause in severe cases, and antibiotics are used for some bacterial infections.
