Spinal cord injury treatment cost
A spinal cord injury is trauma that fractures or dislocates the vertebrae and damages the cord, interrupting signals between the brain and body and causing partial or complete paralysis below the level of injury. It is assessed with neurological exam and MRI/CT and treated with emergency stabilization, decompression surgery, medicines and rehabilitation.
