SMS Hospital (Sawai Man Singh Hospital), Jaipur is the principal teaching hospital attached to Sawai Man Singh Medical College, a government medical college established in 1947 (the college traces its roots to an 1855 maternity hospital and dispensary). It is one of the largest public tertiary-care hospital complexes in Rajasthan, comprising a cluster of attached government hospitals covering general medicine and surgery, a Super Speciality Hospital, women's and children's hospitals, a State Cancer Institute, a psychiatric centre, and an institute of respiratory diseases. As a state-government institution it operates on a subsidised public fee schedule rather than a commercial self-pay price catalog, so no procedure or package pricing for self-pay or international patients is published; its official domain (rajasthan.gov.in) was not reachable from this environment.
