A public Ministry of Health facility in Kuching tracing its origins to 1870, it has grown to 1,005 beds with subspecialty medicine units (nephrology, cardiology, neurology, rheumatology, respiratory, gastroenterology, haematology, infectious diseases) and a Clinical Research Centre running Phase I trials.
