Requirements: proof of funds or a payment agreement with the Taiwan institution, a diagnosis certificate from a foreign hospital, a treatment plan from the Taiwan institution, and a round-trip ticket. Up to 2 accompanying persons are allowed (spouse/relative within the 3rd degree, or 2 home-country medical staff); emergency medical visas can be filed directly by the Taiwan medical institution with BOCA.
